I have not posted in a few days, because I have been studying another method of head modeling.
There many different ways of doing things in 3d and I believe exploring each one can only give me greater insight into good modeling practices.

Head modeling wip
well I am unable to use Hexagon right now because of the update.
No serial number for the update AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
So saving does not work in Hexagon. How ever I was able to import my latest head model do some tweaks and grab a couple of screen shots.
Tools used were Blender, Sculptris and Hexagon.

Another lowpoly head
I have so busy the past few days. I have not had much time to model, so when I got the chance, it became a speed model session.
This lowpoly head took me about 45 min.
I feel like I am starting to get the basics of head modeling down. The topology still needs much work, proper edge flow and so on.
This was done in Blender and Hexagon.

Modeling focus
Right now I am focused in on Character modeling.
In my last post I had stated that I may not do anymore Hexagon tutorials, I have changed my mind about that. Maybe once Hexagon gets to a more stable build, I will think about doing some tuts that are Hexagon specific. uuuummm that is a big maybe.
Well anyway I think I have plenty of time to work with Blender and concentrate on lowpoly character modeling.
Here is a face that am working on.

Yes, once again it has been much to long since my last post.
I have been waiting for the Hexagon update to come out of beta.
Seems as though it is going to be a long time before the update is ready.
I like Hexagon really I do, but I downloaded Blender 2.5 and have not looked back.
Blender is awesome, still lacking some features on the modeling side but very quickly becoming one of my favorite 3d apps. Blender updates and features are being actively developed all the time.
I am looking forward to Bmesh being added.
Not sure if I will be doing anymore tutorials for Hexagon, though after a while with Blender, I may do some Blender tutorials.
I am about 3 weeks into this Blender adventure and loving it.
This blog may become Blender focused or maybe will start a Blender blog just don't know yet.
