Here is a sample of some of the models i have been working on. Most of these models are close complete , modeling and uv mapping, still need to texture.

Been a while

It has been a while since I last updated my blog, "sorry".
I do plan to start posting more often.

I have spent a lot of time lately learning uv layout and texturing.
Also have a few new 3d modeling apps.
Not sure if I will do any new tutorials anytime soon.I was working on one , but had to many other things going. My main focus right now is on modeling, uv mapping and texturing.

So stay tuned more 3d news coming.

Preparing to do more video tutorials

For the past two days I have been preparing to create more video tutorials.

I wanted to improve the quality of my videos, so I have been doing a bunch of research. Now I have been using Camtasia studio 3 for a while and will still use it somewhat. With that being said  though I would like to enable others to create their own video tutorials also. So I have found and tried out several new screen capture apps. freeware of coarse. Also tried out some video conversion freeware, found several that were ok and several that were just plain bad, I mean real bad.

I finally have chosen two applications that will get the job done at no cost as in freeware.  I plan on doing a video series on the applications that I have chosen, how to use them i.e. settings and so on. I am still testing the best settings and learning  both applications. When I have some confidence on how best to use those apps.

I will post the links for the applications in a day or two.

3D and 2D Art Website

I am glad to announce my website will be up and going sometime this summer.

I don't have a domain name yet, but I do have a web host.

The content is coming along faster than I expected.

Which one looks best ?

I  think I will post a few screenshots of  the home page soon.

The thing is I have several styles for the site and I can't decide which one to use. So I am asking for help.

After I have posted the screenshots I would like feedback on which style to use.

Working on new video tutorials

I am currently working on several new video tutorials.

Also I have been working on a website, it should make navigating the video tutorials much easier.

I know I have not been updating this blog much, but will try to keep it updated more often.
